Future plans & ideas
Mine: the first antisocial network » Devlog
Hey guys, I write this post for those who really liked the app and want to know if future updates are planned.
As mentioned in the Itch page comments, I want to remake this app from scratch, with better code and a different Tech-Stack, since this app was originally made as a practice using Svelte, and without much care on code architecture.
So, to make a long story short, these are all the things the new version will have:
- Native Android material design experience
- Better database and performance
- Open-Source and making the app available through F-Droid
- Google Drive, NextCloud and Obsidian synchronization
- Banner pictures
- More themes
I don't want to make any promises, but the update/remake may be released in mid-March.
If you have any suggestions or features you would like in the app, feel free to write a comment.

Are you still planning an update for this app? I really like it but have a few nitpicks:
- Would be nice if the app could auto switch between dark and light mode
- Media embeds and clickable links would be nice
- New lines get eaten when saving a post
- A homescreen widget for making a post would be cool
Even if you don't ever update Mine, I'm glad you made it.
Thanks a lot. I do want to update and improve Mine. However, it might take a lot until I start doing it. But thanks for the suggestions and using Mine, I’ll take them into consideration
